Indigenous Australian Hip Hop act Indigenoise are excited to share their brand-new single ‘The New Code’, out Friday August 24 through Hydrofunk Records.  The band have also announced their debut album ‘Old Ways New Age’ will hit shelves October 19.

Produced by band member Coedie McCarthy and recorded at Hydrofunk HQ in Byron Bay, this third single from Indigenoise is the band’s ode to change. ‘The new code is about the matrix encompassing the globe. So many people are caught up in the black mirrors of this world.’

Indigenoise hope to insert a ‘new code’ into this realm, utilising the digital world to create a positive virus to change the nature of the people. Reflecting the message, the video sees the band roaming through this digital world interacting with the energies and entity's.  ‘Our totems (spirit animal guides) guide us through the smoke and mirrors to a final place where we meet up and synergise. The new code is then projected to the outside natural world with a golden pulse like liquid sunlight!’

Indigenoise represents four different cultures within its ranks, from indigenous Australia to the Vikings of the far north.Bottom of Form Giving a voice to indigenous youth from all different backgrounds, the band have taken audiences by storm with a show that powerfully brings together the worlds of traditional ceremony and dance with contemporary Hip Hop.

Heralding a massive moment in the musical evolution of the band, Indigenoise have scored a gig at Burning Man, the world’s biggest alternative festival held annually in the Nevada desert. Performing on three stages during the week-long festival which runs from August 26 to September 4, the band will bring their raw, conscious hip-hop to thousands of people from all over the world.
