Released Friday November 25th, ‘RECLAIM AUSTRALIA’ the debut album from hip hop duo A.B. ORIGINAL has been widely acclaimed by both critics and music fans across the country

Respectively coming from the Yorta Yorta and Ngarrindjeri tribes, long time friends, Briggs and Trials, are socially conscious outspoken Indigenous artists who bring a new voice to Australian hip hop as A.B. ORIGINAL.

Debuting at #10 on the ARIA Album Chart, ‘RECLAIM AUSTRALIA’ also reached #1 on the AIR independent Labels Album Chart.   The album was feature album on triple j, 3RRR, SYN and Radio Adelaide, had the top 2 tracks on KISS-FM, and was highlighted on many other stations around Australia. 

Their powerful collaboration with Dan Sultan ‘JANUARY 26’ also had a resurgence with the album release and was the #1 track ordered for airplay by Metro community broadcasters on Amrap / Airit this week.  

To co-incide with the album release A.B. ORIGINAL have released a new single and video for ‘ICU’ featuring Thelma Plum.  The second video directed by Richard Coburn, ‘ICU’ issomewhat of a sequel to the ‘JANUARY 26’ clip.
